I recently stayed at The Prince Albert in Nelson for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and had a great ensuite bathroom with a hairdryer and hair-straightener, which was a nice touch. The back yard was also lovely and would be perfect to enjoy during the summer. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast, included in the price, was fantastic and provided a variety of options to start the day, including delicious waffles. The atmosphere was friendly and diverse, allowing for great interactions with fellow travelers. Additionally, the $6 wine/beer option was a steal and added to the overall enjoyable ambience of the place. The staff, especially Erin and Mike, were very helpful and the room was always tidy. I had a fantastic stay at The Prince Albert and would highly recommend it to others.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast with pancakes and juices was delicious. the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to attractions and amenities.
There were some permanent guests at the hotel who didn't take care of the shared spaces, leaving dirty dishes overnight. The kitchen was also not kept very clean, with an overloaded fridge.

The beds were comfortable and the curtains provided privacy. The location was convenient, with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. The free breakfast and unlimited wifi were great bonuses. I had a small issue with the water in my room, which caused a puddle to form outside the bathroom. However, the staff were quick to address it and did their best to mitigate the inconvenience.
